Pritzker signed three laws to help protect trans people here: 1) requires insurance to cover 6 month HRT at a time. 2) sets the right to self ID gender on Illinois documents in stone (before it was just the policy and could be reversed by a new Secretary of State) and 3) removed testosterone from controlled substance list in Illinois. I haven’t found anyone who knows fully what the last one means: it definitely means it’s less tracked (no more easy list of people on T) but as to if it’s enough to actually make 1) apply is another story.
