WPATH, the World Professional Organization for Transgender Health, is best known for setting care standards. These were considered fairly conservative standards of care as recently as 2 years ago! I distinctly remember reading up on how, despite being in my 30 and on hormones for years, WPATH standards are why I needed hours of additional therapy and a letter from a new doctor to get top surgery. Now, the FTC is targeting them from their fav Texas court.
