Chicago trans educator and activist Jey McCreight was assaulted 4.29.26 in Northside hate crime. His attacker knew his name and presumably recognized him from the posters advertising their new educational program, Beyond X & Y. Jey required surgery to stabilize his eye socket, as well as numerous stitches.
